Honey Sweetened Carrots

Honey, parsley and orange zest give this traditional side dish a new taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 cup(s) whole carrots 1/2″ slices
  • 3 tbsp parsley chopped fine
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Method
 

  1. Prep Work: Cut carrots. Chop parsley.
  2. Bring water to boil in medium sized sauce pan with lid.
  3. Cook carrots for 20 minutes; drain.
  4. Return carrots to saucepan and add honey, parsley, zest, and salt and pepper.
