Fruit Salad

Health just radiates out of the bright colors in the bowl when this salad is put together. To keep the bananas and nectarines fresh they are tossed with a very light dressing of lemon juice, water, and just enough organic sugar to combat the tartness.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup(s) lemon juice or lime
  • 1/4 cup(s) water
  • 2 tbsp sugar sucanat or honey
  • 3 banana(s) cut lengthwise and then chopped 1/2″ pieces
  • 4 nectarine(s) medium or one less large sized, wedges
  • 3 cup(s) strawberries cut in half
  • 1 pint(s) blueberries
  • 3 cup(s) watermelon 1″ cubes

Method
 

  1. 1. Make the dressing of lemon juice, water and sugar. Place chopped bananas and nectarines in the serving bowl and toss with some of the dressing. Then add there rest of the ingredients and all of the dressing. Toss to coat.
