
Lemon Butter Broccoli
Quick, easy, nutritious and delicious…that is what you will get for preparing broccoli with just a little bit of butter, some heart-healthy olive oil and lemon.

- Cut broccoli florets into small florets. Peel and chop any stem pieces that are left.
- Put 1/2″ water in bottom of large sauce pan or skillet and cover. Place a steamer in pan if you have one. Heat to a low boil and add broccoli. Cover with lid and steam broccoli jut until it is beginning to soften, approx. 3-5 min. Remove broccoli from the pan as it will continue to cook if you don’t.
- Place softened butter, olive oil, lemon juice and zest and pepper in a small bowl. Mix with a fork and then pour over broccoli. Toss to coat.
