Dump shredded broccoli and onion into a medium sized bowl.
In a small bowl mix together mayonnaise, yogurt, vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil. Pour over broccoli and toss.
Roast sesame seeds and/or sunflower seeds in a dry skillet until golden brown. Shake every 10 seconds to keep from burning.
Top salad with roasted seeds and then salt & pepper to taste. Add chow mien noodles and any of the following toppings you would like to try :
- shredded carrot
- shredded bell pepper
- raisins
- chopped apples
- sunflower seeds, roasted in skillet
