Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a mixing bowl combine butter through vanilla.
Sprinkle dry ingredients over top; oats, flour, nuts, salt and soda.
Add chips if desired.
Place cookies on baking sheet and bake 15 min.
REMAKE IDEAS:
- Replace 1 c. butter with 1/2 c. organic butter and 1/2 c. olive oil, or replace 1/2 cup of the butter with 1/4 cup water and 1/4 c. flax meal gel (combine and let sit 10 min.)
- Omit (turbinado, raw) sugar completely.
- Add 1/2 c. butterscotch chips, dried cranberries, etc.
