Pat tuna steaks dry with paper towel, then sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper, and lemon pepper as well if desired.
Heat high smoking point oil, like coconut oil, in a frying pan on high heat. When hot, add steaks and sear on one side for 1-2 minutes, then reduce heat to medium and sear for 1-2 minutes more.
Turn steaks over and sear for 1-2 minutes depending on desired doneness.
Remove steaks from heat to a plate or cutting board and cover loosely with tin foil for 5 minutes before slicing.
Spicy Mayo: Combine the mayonnaise, hot sauce and honey in a small bowl; set aside.
To serve, top steak with mango salsa and drip spicy mayo over the top. Sprinkle with cilantro and fresh lime juice.
Tacos: This fish can easily be served in warmed tortillas.
